View/Search Requisitions

Whether a user can view either their personal requests or all requests is controlled by the rights granted to the specific user.

  • Requisitioning Module
    • permits user to submit, view, modify and receive personal requests, only.
  • Requisitioning Manage Requests
    • permits user to submit, view, modify and receive all requests.

View Requests

  1. Log in with a username and password that has been granted access to the Requisitioning Module.
  2. Choose the appropriate Module.
  3. Click Requests(X) on the left side of the screen.
    • If the user has the Requisitioning Manage Requests right granted, the number (X) will represent all open requests.
    • If the user has the Requisitioning Module right granted, the number (X) will represent only the user’s open requests.
  4. The Search Requests page will open.
  1. To modify visible columns click the column icon .
  2. Select/deselect column headings.
  3. Click the Status buttons to filter the results grid on one or more statuses.
  1. Click the up/down arrow to sort by column heading.
    • The up/down arrow will transform to an up (ascending) or down (descending) arrow to indicate the sort column and sort order.

Search Requests

  1. Log in with a username and password that has been granted access to the Requisitioning Module.
  2. Choose the appropriate Module.
  3. Click Requests(X) on the left side of the screen.
    • If the user has the Requisitioning Manage Requests right granted, the number (X) will represent all open requests.
    • If the user has the Requisitioning Module right granted, the number (X) will represent only the user’s open requests.
  4. The Search Requests page will open.
  1. Enter basic search criteria
    • Request #: the number assigned to the request upon submission.
    • PO Number: this is a user-added value.
    • Chem Name:
      • value may be searched by Contains, Is, Starts With, or Ends With.
      • value may be searched by Catalog name or Synonym.
    • Date:
      • date range may be searched by Date Requested, Date Last Modified, or Date Last Received.
    • Requested By: the user who submitted the request.
  2. Additional search criteria may be accessed by clicking Advanced Search.
  1. Enter more detailed search criteria if needed.
    • Catalog No: catalog number for the item.
    • Amount: the volume/mass the item contains.
    • U-O-M: the unit of measure associated with the container.
    • Supplier: where the item was purchased.
    • Manufacturer: entity which created and/or packaged item.
    • Stock Number: the catalog number plus size designation.
    • CAS#: Chemical Abstracts Service Registry Number.
  2. Click Search Requests.
