Manage System Tables
System tables may be modified to add, edit and delete values. System tables are accessed from the settings menu and certain dynamic areas within the database such as the add item screen and the catalog record data screens. The following tutorial will address modifying system tables from the settings screen. System table values will be displayed in all modules for the organization.
Add Value to Table
- Log in with a user name and password that has been granted access to Modify System Settings.
- Click Settings on the menu on the left side of the home screen.
- Click the System Tables tab
- Select a Table using the Select Coded Table dropdown menu.

- Enter the desired value into the Add Table Entry field.
- Enter a code into the Custom Code field. (optional)
- Click the Double Arrow button
to add the value to the system table.

- The new entry will populate the Table Entries field.
- The message Data Saved will appear under the table.

Edit Table Value
- Log in with a user name and password that has been granted access to Modify System Settings.
- Click Settings on the menu on the left side of the home screen.
- Click the System Tables tab
- Select a Table using the Select Coded Table dropdown menu.
- Click to highlight the table entry to be edited. Information will populate into the Add Table Entry and Custom Code fields.
- Edit the information in the Add Table Entry and/or Custom Code fields.
- Click the Update button
to save changes.

- The edited value will populate the Table Entries field.
- The message Data Saved will appear under the table.

Delete Table Value
- Log in with a user name and password that has been granted access to Modify System Settings.
- Click Settings on the menu on the left side of the home screen.
- Click the System Tables tab
- Select a Table using the Select Coded Table dropdown menu.
- Click to highlight the table entry to be deleted. Information will populate into the Add Table Entry and Custom Code fields.
- Click the Delete button
to save changes.

- The deleted code will be removed from the Table Entries field.
- The message Sys code deleted will appear under the table.

Note: Table entries cannot be deleted if they are in use in any database table.
Note: The clear button
clears table entry selection while preserving choice in Selected Coded Table.
