Custom Labels
Many elements within the inventory management system may be customized to meet the needs of an organization. The custom labels function is used to define required data elements, customize field names, disable optional fields, specify default values and create tool tips. Changes made in the custom labels tab are specific to the current module.
- Log in with a user name and password that has been granted access to Modify System Settings.
- Choose the appropriate Module.
- Click Settings on the menu on the left side of the home screen.
- Click the Custom Labels tab.
- Search by entering a value into the text box, filter or scroll to find the label to customize.
- Click the Pencil
icon.
- Modify the the data to reflect desired values. If the field is to be optional, leave the Field required to complete forms and Disable on all forms unchecked.
- Click Update.
