Due to the level of records management in Vertere, deletion of Groups may not be possible. A Group can only be deleted if it has no auditable activity i.e. the Group never owned chemicals. If deletion is not possible, the Group may be Inactivated within the system.

Delete Group

1. Log in with a user name and password that has been granted access to Modify Users and Groups.
2. Choose the appropriate Module.
3. Click Users/Groups from the menu on the left side of the home screen.
4. Click the Group Name in the tree.  The group will populate in the group information box.
5. Click Delete.
6. Confirm deletion in the pop-up window.
7. Group Deleted Successfully message will appear below the group information box.

Inactivate Group

1. Log in with a user name and password that has been granted access to Modify Users and Groups.
2. Choose the appropriate Module.
3. Click Users/Groups from the menu on the left side of the home screen.
4. Click the Group Name in the tree.  The group will populate in the group information box.
5. Click the checkbox next to Inactive.
6. Click Save.
7. Data Saved message will appear below the group information box.

Note: All users associated with the group will be inactivated. It will not affect the activation status of users associated with other active groups. Existing inventory records are not modified until the items are transferred from the inactive group to an active group.

Reactivate Group

1. Log in with a user name and password that has been granted access to Modify Users and Groups.
2. Choose the appropriate Module.
3. Click Users/Groups from the menu on the left side of the home screen.
4. Click the checkbox next to Show Inactive.
5. Click the Group Name in the tree.  The group will populate in the group information box.
6. Clear the checkbox next to Inactive.
7. Click Save.
8. Data Saved message will appear below group information box.
