Manage Location Document Types

Location documents may be added to the system to assist with organizational compliance such as area specifications, permits, certifications, maps, and maintenance records. Location document types may be defined to aid in document organization. Location information, including documentation, is shared across modules.

Add Location Document Type

  1. Log in with a user name and password that has been granted access to Modify System Locations.
  2. Choose the appropriate Module.
  3. Click Locations from the menu on the left side of the home screen.
  4. Click Manage Locations.
  5. Click any current location to activate the Documents tab.
  6. Click the Documents tab.
  7. Click Manage document types.
  8. Click the Plus icon next to Add new document type.
  9. Enter Name.
  10. Click Save.
  11. Close the pop-up window using the X icon .

Edit Location Document Type

  1. Log in with a user name and password that has been granted access to Modify System Locations.
  2. Choose the appropriate Module.
  3. Click Locations from the menu on the left side of the home screen.
  4. Click Manage Locations.
  5. Click any current location to activate the Documents tab.
  6. Click the Documents tab.
  7. Click Manage document types.
  8. Click the Pencil icon next to the document type to be edited.  The four default document types cannot be edited or deleted.
  9. Make desired edits.
  10. Click Update.
  11. Close the pop-up window using the X icon .

Delete Location Document Type

  1. Log in with a user name and password that has been granted access to Modify System Locations.
  2. Choose the appropriate Module.
  3. Click Locations from the menu on the left side of the home screen.
  4. Click Manage Locations.
  5. Click any current location to activate the Documents tab.
  6. Click the Documents tab.
  7. Click Manage document types.
  8. Click the Recycle Bin icon next to the document type to be deleted.  The four default document types cannot be edited or deleted.
  9. Confirm deletion in the pop-up window.
  10. Close the pop-up window using the X icon .
