Mobile Item Transfer
Inventory items within the chemical, biological and general modules may be transferred using the mobile site. Items may be adjusted individually or as a group. The minimum required information is a new location.
Individual Transfer-Overflow Menu
- Using device browser, Navigate to mobile site.
- Enter a Username and Password that has been granted access to the Mobile Version.
- Tap the Log In button.
- Tap to choose the appropriate Module. Mobile Log In
- Search for item(s) to be transferred. Mobile Item Search
- To access the Overflow Menu, tap the Three Dot icon
to the right of the item name.
- Tap Transfer in the overflow menu. The transfer page will open. The message Transfer ##### will be displayed at the top of the screen, where ##### is the item tag number.
- Select the new location. Locations may be accessed by using the location Search Field or the Location Tree.
- To access locations using the Search Field, tap the search field to place the cursor. Location results may be narrowed by typing all or part of the location name into the field.
- To access a list of location names tap the Down Arrow
to open the location dropdown list. Scroll to the correct location. Tap to Select.
- To access locations using the Location Tree, tap the Tree icon
to open a pop-up window containing the location tree.
- Navigate to the correct location. Tap to Select.
- Tap OK.
- Tap Complete Transfer. Confirmation of successful transfer will show briefly on the screen.







Individual Transfer-Item Information Screen
- Using device browser, Navigate to mobile site.
- Enter a Username and Password that has been granted access to the Mobile Version.
- Tap the Log In button.
- Tap to choose the appropriate Module. Mobile Log In
- Search for item(s) to be transferred. Mobile Item Search
- To access the Item Information page, tap the shaded area surrounding the item. The item information page will open.
- Tap the Transfer button. The transfer page will open. The message Transfer ##### will be displayed at the top of the screen, where ##### is the item tag #.
- Select the new location. Locations may be accessed by using the location Search Field or the Location Tree.
- To access locations using the Search Field, tap the search field to place the cursor. Location results may be narrowed by typing all or part of the location name into the field.
- To access a list of location names tap the Down Arrow
to open the location dropdown list. Scroll to the correct location. Tap to Select.
- To access locations using the Location Tree, tap the Tree icon
to open a pop-up window containing the location tree.
- Navigate to the correct location. Tap to Select.
- Tap OK.
- Tap Complete Transfer. Confirmation of successful transfer will show briefly on the screen.







Multiple Item Transfer
- Using device browser, Navigate to mobile site.
- Enter a Username and Password that has been granted access to the Mobile Version.
- Tap the Log In button.
- Tap to choose the appropriate Module. Mobile Log In
- Search for item(s) to be transferred. Mobile Item Search
- Tap the Transfer button at the lower left of the screen. The transfer page will open. The message Transfer X Items will be displayed at the top of the screen.
- Select the new location. Locations may be accessed by using the location Search Field or the Location Tree.
- To access locations using the Search Field, tap the search field to place the cursor. Location results may be narrowed by typing all or part of the location name into the search field.
- To access a list of location names tap the Down Arrow
to open the location dropdown list. Scroll to the correct location. Tap to Select.
- To access locations using the Location Tree, tap the Tree icon
to open a pop-up window containing the location tree.
- Navigate to the correct location. Tap to Select.
- Tap OK.
- Tap Complete Transfer. Confirmation of successful transfer will show briefly on the screen.






Optional Transfer Information
The values for current user, department, alternate user, status and transfer date may be updated.
Update Current User
- To change the Current User, tap the Switch Control
to activate the current user search field.
- To access active users using the Search Field, tap the search field to place the cursor. User Name results may be narrowed by typing all or part of the user name into the search field.
- To access a list of user names tap the Down Arrow
to open the user name dropdown list. Scroll to the correct user nameTap to Select.
- Users are filtered based on department/group choice. Only the users in the selected department/group will be available. Clear the selected department/group to display all current users.


Update Current Department/Group
- To change the Department/Group, tap the Switch Control
to activate the current department/group search field.
- To access active departments/groups using the Search Field, tap the search field to place the cursor. Department/Group results may be narrowed by typing all or part of the department/group name into the search field.
- To access a list of department/groups tap the Down Arrow
to open the department/group dropdown list. Scroll to the correct department/group. Tap to Select.
- The access the Department/Group Tree, tap the Tree icon
to open a pop-up window containing the department/group tree.
- Navigate to the correct department/group. Tap to Select.
- Tap Select Group.
- Departments/Groups are filtered base on current user choice. Only the department/group associated with the selected user will be available. Clear current user to display all Departments/Groups.




Update Alternate User
- To change the Alternate User, tap the Switch Control
to activate the alternate user search field.
- To access active users using the Search Field, tap the search field to place the cursor. User Name results may be narrowed by typing all or part of the user name into the search field.
- To access a list of user names tap the Down Arrow
to open the user name dropdown list. Scroll to the correct user name. Tap to Select.
- Users are filtered based on department/group choice. Only the users in the selected department/group will be available. Clear the selected department/group to display all current users.


Update Status
- To change the item Status, tap the Switch Control
to activate the status search field.
- To access Status Types, tap the Search Field to open the status dropdown list.
- Scroll to the correct status. Tap to Select.

Change Transfer Date
The transfer date may be adjusted as needed. The default value is the current date.
- To adjust the Transfer Date, tap the Calendar Icon within the date field. A pop-up calendar window will open.
- Navigate to the desired date. Tap to Select.


Comment
If needed, a comment may be added to the transaction.
- To add a Comment, tap the Comment Field to place curser.
- Enter comment.
