Single Sign On
SSO Provider Set Up
Instructions are provided for Azure AD configuration and integration. The steps are similar for other Single Sign On (SSO) providers.
- Log in with a user name and password that has been granted access to Manage SSO Configuration.
- Click System on the menu on the left of the home screen to expand the system sub menu.
- Click SSO Configuration.

- Click Set Up.

- Click Guidelines to access detailed instructions to configure VIM Enterprise SSO with the applicable single sign on provider for your site.

Edit Login Button Text
- Log in with a user name and password that has been granted access to Manage SSO Configuration.
- Click System on the menu on the left of the home screen to expand the system sub menu.
- Click SSO Configuration.

- Click the blue, Pencil icon.

- Edit text.
- Click the Green Checkmark to save.
- Click the Red Bar Circle to exit without saving.

SSO Only Login
When the Only allow SSO login button is toggled OFF, both login options, username and password and SSO will be available on the main page. An email is sent to the Site Admin confirming SSO only has been Disabled.



When the Only allow SSO login button is toggled ON, the only login option permitted is SSO. Login with a user name and password will be disabled. An emergency login link is provided for use when SSO login is unavailable.


Grant Emergency Login Access
The Site Admin cannot have emergency login access revoked. Other users may be granted emergency login access.
- Log in with a user name and password that has been granted access to Manage SSO Configuration.
- Click System on the menu on the left of the home screen to expand the system sub menu.
- Click SSO Configuration.

- Choose the desired User Name from the drop down menu.
- Click Add.

- An email is sent to the Site Admin confirming emergency login access for the user has been granted.

Revoke Emergency Login Access
- Log in with a user name and password that has been granted access to Manage SSO Configuration.
- Click System on the menu on the left of the home screen to expand the system sub menu.
- Click SSO Configuration.

- Click the Remove button next to the username.

- An email is sent to the Site Admin confirming emergency login access was revoked from the user.

Emergency Login
- Click the Emergency Login link on the login screen.

- Enter a user name and password that has Emergency Login Access.
- Click Log In.

- Enter the Authorization Code sent to the email address associated with the SSO account.
- Click OK.

- The Site Admin will receive an email alert stating the user accessed the site through an emergency login.

Link SSO Account to Vertere Account
Vertere user profiles must contain the email address associated with the SSO account for each user that will log into the system. When logging in for the first time, users must link their SSO account to their Vertere user name. Add User
- Click the Azure AD login button.

- Choose the Account associated with the SSO account.
- If the account is not listed, click Use another account and enter the appropriate email address.

- Enter the Password associated with the SSO account
- Click Sign In.

- Click Yes to stay signed in, click No to enter credentials at each login.

- Enter Vertere User Name and Password.
- Click Login.
